Bill McSorley
Founder and President
Bill McSorley has had an extensive career in technology, primarily in financial services. He is a frequent speaker at technology conferences, and is a member of the Forbes Technology Council. He now heads up WM3 Group LLC, an advising firm focused on cybersecurity, technology spend optimization, infrastructure, cloud, privacy, and emerging technologies. Preceding WM3 Group, he was the CIO and CTO of Monarch Alternative Capital, a $5B AUM New York based hedge fund. Prior to this position, Mr. McSorley was Chief Information and Technology Officer at Edison School District in Edison, New Jersey (one of the largest in the state) where he oversaw the complete renovation of the school district's technology infrastructure, cyber preparedness and staffing. Prior to joining the Edison School District, Mr. McSorley was Chief Technology Officer at Quadrangle Group LLC, a New York City based private equity firm with $6B AUM and offices in New York, Hong Kong, California and London.
